Hippie Chick and my stitching necklace

I have been stitching.  For some reason I am fascinated with this Hippie Chick that I am stitching on purple.  I just want to work on this one.  It is supposed to be my travel project but I am working on it all the time now.  I didn't get much stitching done at the hospital yesterday as chemo was cancelled for the day.  My husband's numbers told the doctor that it was a good idea to skip the chemo this week. 

I have been asked to add this photo again.  I found this necklace when I was in New Hampshire Celebrations of Needlework, I found this wooden necklace that has my scissors and a threader in the base.  I wear it when I am out and about.  I get a lot of comments on it.  I always tell them "I run with scissors.".  What a hoot.
