My day started with a bit of spring clean up outside. Then I tackled the John Deer tractor/mower. I did okay for a bit but then my son took over and finished up the mow job. I know there are things that I am going to have to learn and that was one of them. I spent the afternoon watching old John Wayne movies and stitching. I have this block about half done? There is a blue bird here also. I seem to like blue birds of late.

Nice progress. My dh travels so much I've had John Deere training as well. I love blue birds, too. We have some nesting. Loved your quilt block in the earlier post.
Great progress Taffy. This piece is so pretty. I love the colors.
We also have a John Deere and I would take the kids on "rides" when they were little. They would get a kick out of rabbit and turtle speeds. Now that the boys are older, they cut the grass on the fastest speed just to get it finished.
