I did add the bird. He will look much better once I do the back stitching. I have moved back to the trellis work. I am still hoping to get this block done this year. My last afghan took five years. I only worked on it during the winter and was happy to get several blocks done in one year. I am not sure what my next project will be.....
While I contemplate my next project - - I want to do a Give Away!! I picked this finished ornament from my finished stash. I will send this ornament to one of my blog buddies. Dear Taffy,
for us, Christmas was a very busy time. But good time. Today, last day of the year, we are only three at home, so there is not a big dinner as in other years. My only work is to drive through the night to put up my children from their parties, so that they come home safe.
On the beginning on every new year, I do not feel so well, because no one knows, what that year will bring and I am afraid, that we may be not so happy as we are now. In a few days, I will feel better, I´m sure.
My Christmas tree is still in our great room and he looks beautiful. I am sad every year, when I have to re-decorate the Christmas time. It feels as if the house is empty.
Oh,yes, one day I will also have a tree with ornaments. I love that. And I love that ornament that you have stitched.
