Happy Birthday!!!!

Yes, it is my birthday.  And my twin sisters.  And the little girl across the street when I was little.  And many other people.  Some I know, some I knew and many I have yet to meet.  Happy Birthday!!

I did not get a lot of stitching done.  Instead I spent the day with family and friends.  It was a busy day and very filling.  Oh the wonderful things I have eaten today!!  I also opened many presents.  Since I could not photo any stitching progress, I took a photo of my presents.

We have a pine cone glass cutting board, two fall statues *Mr. & Mrs. Scarecrow), a squishy peace doll, two taper candles (they have been hard to find), a great smelling candle, a bracelet that sparkles, a huge candy apple and some fudge.  I also have a very clean and gas filled car.  We traveled all over the place today.  We had a great lunch at the Whistling Kettle and a great dinner at Outback.  Stick a fork in me, I am done.  It was a great birthday.  It is the first time in 15 years that I have had family around for my birthday.  (Other than dear husband.)  It is all very strange and I just might cry.  Good night everyone.  Thank for the birthday to remember.  The well wishes, the gifts, the great foods, all of it.

Hi Taffy,

A belated happy birthday! It's lovely to have all of your family around you on that special day (I think it's even more precious than all those gifts)!

And thanks again for helping me out with the Just Nan Christmas workshop!

Kind greetings,
Ann from Belgium
