I did get some stitching done. I also hosted the best group of ladies. The Adirondack Crafters showed up for a pizza party this evening. Shirley (knitting), Beth (crochet but learning XS), Sally (quilting) and Linda (XS) were here for dinner and cake. They just left a bit ago. We had great fun chatting, stitching, sharing and just being girls. It was great fun. I am sorry Lisa couldn't join us. Maybe next time. This is so exciting.

What a wonderful day!!!

I know what you feel. Since four years the girls (and one boy) meet at Oldenburg Knit Night. We have three hours on wednesdays 6.00pm to 9.00pm in a bistro in the center of Oldenburg. It is sooo much fun. We found each other in the internet.
First I thought to meet every week is much too much. But the reality showed us that we need to see us. And we can´t wait to meet again.
We are about 24years to nearly 6oyears old and no one cares about the age. Only handwork is counting.
I also have a privat meeting group, but there is looong time between the meetings.
I think it is easier to meet at an open place like a cafe or bistro than to meet privat.
And it is easier for me to knit in a group than to stitch because the light is not always the best.
