Well, here he is!! I did all the back stitching on the pumpkin. I am still not sure where I want to go next. Continue back stitching or more on to the borders????? The back stitching does help to outline the items and it does make it seem to pop out. This guy says "Hey - - look at me!!"

Wow, what a difference. It really pops out from the fabric now. But what a lot of tedious detailing. Looks even better than before, if that's possible.

I always do backstitching as soon as possible. It looks much better then. It helps me to go on when I see that the section before looks perfect.

Count this as another vote to get more backstitching done. I, too, complete backstitching as I go (when possible).
