Straight Stitch the Verse
I debated with myself about leaving out the verse. I think it would look unbalanced. So here we go with the verse. It is half done here. Of course, after that verse comes more border.......

Oh Taffy, it is such a pleasure to follow your work. The border is great. It is right not to leave the verse (without it would not be complete). Every time when I read your lamentation(right word?) about backstitching, I have to smile. I LOVE bachstitching because it completes everything.
I sit here with my christmas cross stitch. I love it, but I always have problems with the golden metal threads. Every year the same. I know all tricks, but there is no fun. But in the end, I love the sparkle. Again, please excuse my bad English. Reading is no problem, but to write... oh oh....and grammar....oh oh oh.....
