Busy Stitching Day

This is Part One and it is done!  I had to go looking for something else to work on.

I decided to put together the Lindy Mouse Charming House.  Lots of fussy stitching but worth it now that it is done.

The mouse lives in the attic.  Four seasons on the four sides of the cube.  Very cute.

I can't believe you have the little house done already. It seems like it only came out yesterday. So cute.

I just finished the lindy mouse stitching - not excited about getting those roof pieces to look right - yours is lovely!

I just have to comment on the moon. There is no better illustration of how your stitching technique with overdye can be used to enhance the object. The blotching of the colors has made an extrememly realistic version of the moon. In contrast, had you stitched it the conventiona way of one row at a time, the moon would be striped - which it is not! I almost wish you would stitch a moon using the row by row method, just to illustrate the difference when you put the two moons side by side. Beautiful job. Just beautiful. And P.S. Looking at the older pics, I love the white-on-white Hardanger set with the biscornu and the box. Just gorgeous!
