In September I am signed up for a cyberclass with Victoria Sampler. They sent the homework early and I jumped right on it. Today I finished the hardanger pieces and now it is done! Next up will be finishing this into a flat fabric piece that will fit in a tray. A stitching tray for future projects.
I love stitching. I love making stitcher's treasures. I would like to share my love of needlework.

I AM BACK!!!
Meet Lindy Mouse! I stitched this today! Start to Finish - over two with two threads! It felt so good!!! I was able to finish my model stitching last night so today I am free to work on whatever I want. This was the last part of that project before calling it done. Putting it together will be the next part. Meanwhile .......
I also finished the hat! Complete with pompom. And it fits!! This was a simple pattern and I did it in just a few nights with the final sewing together done today.

Working, Working, Working
Hi All. I am one busy stitcher. I have one project done and sent off to the designer. The second one should be done this weekend. Yippee Skippy. I will be glad to return to my own stitching. Last night I decided that I needed a distraction. So I started working on this hat. It is a winter cap that will have a big pom pom on it. It is about half way done. Maybe I can finish this tonight.
I hope to get back to my blog soon. It is frustrating to not be able to share what I am working on. The models I am doing are to be released in October so you won't have long to wait. Meanwhile - shhh!

Roof is done?
I have the main part of the Just Nan project done. The base stitching is done on the house. I still have the mouse itself to stitch. As I mentioned earlier, I am busy with a model stitching project so I can't share that progress right now. I am stitching with three strands. This gives a solid color effect and does what the designer wants. I agree. On the other hand, I never stitch with an uneven number of strands, especially with DMC. I love the loop start too much. So I am doing it but I growl more often.

True ADK Girl
Well, there you have it. I have a few new toys. A new red lawn mower for the off road mowing and a chain saw. I am ready to be a true Adirondack Girl. Progress on the camp front and I will have to share that news soon. It has been a busy and dream filled weekend. On the other hand, I haven't spent any time with a needle in my hand. Sad, but true.

Where does the time go?
I have been stitching. Here is the final Just Nan Charming House. It is done except for buttons and beads. I will now move on to the roof parts. All four parts are the same and very boring. I guess I owe my followers an update. I have been busy. Boat rides, dinners out, some new friends, dinner parties, you know - summer! I feel bad that the blog has been ignored. Camp is still waiting on the survey. My 'final documents' (aka will) is being redone and is very boring and very much the same thing. So lawyers and survey people are on my radar right now. It does keep me busy.
Oh, I agreed to do some model stitching. Why? I don't know. LOL. I will be doing two small projects for a well known designer. But I can't share it with you. Not until the final release. Sorry. Also I have the new Sam Sarah mystery sampler piece but the documentation says to not share the progress in order to maintain the secret. So - if I work on it, I will have to decide to break that request or I might just not stitch it until have all the parts. Time will tell.

Autumn and Area Rug done!
Today I was able to get some stitching done! The Autumn side of the block and the area rug for the top of the block are done!! There will be a few beads added later to the Autumn part. It is interesting and strange to stitch things upside down. Thank goodness I have practiced this in the past.
