Sorry - I did get some things done!!!
Here is a little box that will be a gift. I just love the over one stitching.....
Mystery sampler by LHN. We found a perfect frame for $5.00!!!!! I just love it. It now hangs by my desk.
I have been absent and I know it. First I went to my first stitching retreat in quite some time. I went to Mystic Connecticut. It was fun. Thea of Victoria Sampler was there and such a wonderful person and so fun to stitch with. I will post progress photos soon. I am almost done with that one. Then - - a very good friend came for a visit. We have been sight seeing, talking, stitching some, up late at night, watching the Cardinals. It has been a busy time. I hope to get back to my blog postings on a more regular basis again.

Another Finish and a New Start
Autumn Whimsies by Cherished Stitches. I am done. I decided not to put my initials on it. I am not exactly sure why but I did.
Then I started Autumn Typography by Just Nan. Yes the fabric is hand dyed. It is very pretty and full of autumn colors. I have also been busy making another round of floss totes. Whew!!

Autumn Whimsies
Progress is being made on this one. I am close to being done. Just a pitchfork, man and flower to do besides the initials. I am just not sure when I might get to it. My routines are changing and I feel a bit lost. Once again I am posting this in the morning. These little changes don't seem like much but it is strange to me. I normally love my routines (ruts).

One Done and A new Start
Scary by Lizzie Kate is done. I wish the evil green showed up better. The fabric is so Halloween!
Then I start Cherished Stitches Autumn Whimsies. My squirrel is a little fatter than most but he will do. This should be a quick finish.

Progress!!!
I know I have missed a few days of posting. It is fun, even for me, to see where I last left noting my progress. I am so close to finishing this one. What will be next? I have a trip coming up and so many things I want to work on. I did spend a bit of time clearing leaves today. Fall is here for sure. A friend asked me if I was working - - I answered that Just being me is a full time job!!! Those that have met me would agree, I am sure.

A new Project and new stash
Spooky by Lizzie Kate. I started working on this today. It has been a busy day of phone calls and details to take care of. I hope to find some stitching time tonight.
I found some of my previous projects (models) up for sale on an Etsy Shop. The link is: PG Peddler Esty. If you get a chance, take a look. It was a trip down memory lane for me to see so many models that I stitched in a previous life.
Then a package arrived with the mail man. Just some new things to add to the pile of things to stitch. Today a big storm came through. Lots of wind and rain. The leaves are falling very fast right now. There go the pretty colors for this year.

Busy Weekend and Fall Colors
The other day I was relaxing in my recliner on the deck. This was the scene before my eyes. As I sat there, leaves were slowly dancing to the ground with a lazy swing from side to side as they floated to the ground. Our weather has now turned rainy and most of the leaves are going to be on the ground. It has been beautiful this last week. Peak is now past and I am so glad I was able to see so much of it and enjoy it all.
Lizzie Kate's Haunted. This is stitched on purple but that doesn't show up very good. This will make a cute ornament. Then I took some time to start the process of making a dozen or more floss totes. Tonight my neck is sore and it is time to leave the craft room for a bit.
My SIL, dear Terrie, was here and helped me with some flower arrangements. This is now in the dining room Very bright and pretty.
The kitchen table didn't escape our efforts. The bear was given the left overs to sniff. And Yes Terrie I did get the cake stuff to place in the basket and a few more flowers.

Haunted!
I was at a loss as to what to work on. I picked up this Halloween piece. It is done on purple which caught my eye. It is easy with only one color and that makes it a quick thing. That is the top and both sides. I am about half way done. This was one of the extra charts that came with Lizzie Kate's Mystery Sampler. I hope to have it done tomorrow. Meanwhile I am packing for my retreat. It is always a struggle when packing for a stitching event. What to take? What will I need?

Mystic Homework is done!!!!
I a happy dancing here on the hill!! I have my homework done for the retreat later this month. I just finished the kloster blocks. I did run out of the medium blue perle cotton thread. Luckily I found some in my stash so I was able to keep going.
I dismantled the scroll bars to get a full photo of the piece. I also needed to do it to pack it away for traveling Happy Happy Happy.

Mystic is getting closer - the turkeys are back
I have been working on Mystic. I am about to start the final section which will be hardanger. I am so excited to see the end of this one. I have a few other things I want to work on before the big event.
Shocking! The flock is back! I counted 28 turkeys in my back yard today.
