Our snow family continued to grow. My SIL went out to make the second snowman to help hold up the first one. Then there were admiring fans added to watch them. So far it is fun to see them and they do scare the turkeys.
I had a dream. I wanted a rolling cart like the one I saw in the Solutions catalog. I saved a picture and a description. My son made this in just the last few days!!! It will be my project cart. I want to put my various projects on it and be able to roll it from my craft room to the living room or even outside on the porch when summer comes. I am thrilled. Yippee Skippy!! My son is very talented.
I did get a few moments to stitch on the Just Nan Valentine Tree. I am closing in on getting this one done. My husband is doing quite well considering what we are facing. Our days are filled with phone calls, visits and planning and coordinating medications. It does keep us busy.
I love stitching. I love making stitcher's treasures. I would like to share my love of needlework.

Gilmore and Band 9
Well, here he is during the daylight. It continued to snow last night so he has some snow on his chapeau. Tonight, after some warmer weather, he is listing to the left and is about to fall over. We are enjoying him while we can.
I did get through band number nine today.

Mr. Snowman, progress and a card shower
SIL Terrie went out and made a snowman. We just had to dress him up. It was fun to watch him come to life.
I did make a little progress on the sampler. Here is the card shower before I took them all down. I want to thank everyone that sent a card. It was so much fun. I did take them down. Next they go in an album.

Snow Angel & some progress
We had a bit of snow last night. My SIL went out and made snow angels on the back deck and under my husband's window. We have angels all around us.
I did do some stitching. The first two bands of this one are complete. I am not sure what is next but I am pleased to have made some progress.

Busy times so very little stitching
I have completed the over one vine on the one side. I started on the second side just last night. I seem to have less and less time for stitching. I miss it.
My extra project is in my craft room. I now have the hearts done and I need to stitch the tree part and the satin stitch hearts. It is progress. My husband is doing well. He is on a pump for pain medication. He is sleeping okay if he moves around from place to place at night. Today we went out to lunch and took a drive in the sunshine.

Sweets from NO & new stitches
Yesterday we received a package from a friend in New Orleans. It is a King cake. Wow!! It is so good!!! And such a wonderful surprise.
I decided to start a new project after the last afghan block. This is Victoria Sampler's Love is Patient.... I started with the bargello heart and now I am working on the over one vines. It feels good to stitch. I don't get a lot of time to stitch but it does feel good.

Showers of Fun and another block is finished
Oh, my little friend stopped to say Hi this morning on his way to the neighbor's house for breakfast. He stared at me and I stared at him with a camera. The neighbor feeds 23 turkeys and about 6 deer every day. We get to enjoy seeing all the wild life.
Here is block number 7 all done. I think it is time to work on something else. I need to go do some stash diving. Who knows what will be next.
Here is the afghan on the floor so you can get a bit of an idea of the size and the amount done. I think it is 9 blocks done out of 30. It is a good start.

Afghan block continues and is almost done.
It has been a very long week. My husband and I have been very busy just living our lives. Yesterday was a family party at a near by restaurant with relatives coming up to the house in small groups to see Jack. We had a snow storm last week and my son was here with us to help with the snow and to be there for me. I try to get some stitching done and from time to time I actually make some progress. Currently I am done with the base stitching and only need to do the back stitching to complete the current block on the afghan.

Winter Wonderland and some stitching updates
Today was a sunny and bright day. We spent the afternoon driving around the north country. We were checking out the frozen waterfalls and freshets.
This is one of our favorite waterfalls. It is way up there. We love to see it rushing in the spring. In winter, it looks all different.
On the side of the road we were able to grab a photo of a freshet. Very interesting to see.
This is another frozen side of a mountain. On the left side, just behind the trees there are some very small dots. Those are people climbing the side of the mountain. Wow. It was something to see.
The afghan work continues. It is good that I am just working on the white part. It doesn't take much thinking and it does seem to be going well.
When Jack is sleeping in his favorite chair in the living room, I steal away to my craft room. That is where I have my Just Nan Heart tree project, I was able to put a few hours on the project this morning.
