This box was made by my son Warren. This wonderful box is now owned by a dear friend, Meri. The top slides in and fits just perfect for a framed top. Now this could be covered with stitchery but somehow I doubt that will happen.
It's it great?!! I just love it.

What a great job your son did! They've dropped woodshop at our local high schools in Sacramento and that's so sad.
