For my birthday, Jeanne gave me a book entitled 200 braids to twist, knot, loop or weave by Jacqui Carey. I did a bit of shopping this morning and then spent the afternoon looping, twisting and knotting. I am not sure what I will do with these. I have to stop.

I see these all over my house, because Hannah makes them. She's been braiding necklaces, bracelets, anklets and keychains for several years. All of her bluejeans have safety pins on them, just above the knee on the right leg. That holds her twine, hemp or whatever while she braids. She does lots of beading on them as well. I love the colors she blends. We sell them for her at the marina all summer.
