A-B-C

A Bee C by Lizzie Kate.  I started this today.  It should be off tomorrow.  It is another limited edition kit.  The new AC system is working just great.  It was installed this week, just in time for cool temperatures.  Now we are heading to another heat wave.  I plan to remain cool and comfortable. 

Another finish for the weekend!!!!

Wow - I am stitching up a storm.  Today I started and finished Flowers by Lizzie Kate.  This was a limited edition kit.  It was quick and fun to just keep going on it all day long.  I think I need to rest now.  Whew!!!

New Deck progress - -

 We are almost done.  The benches will still get little lights like the lights at the step below. 

I think I am going to love this deck.

This is a shot from out in the yard.  I think we should be able to find our way back to the house from the fire pit now.... LOL.

Yippee Skippy - - Liberty Sam

Just finished!!!  Liberty Sam is done!!!  Those red and white stripe pants were a bit boring but I got it done.  I am thrilled.  What will I work on next?????

Liberty Sam Continues and a new crop of turkeys has arrived.

Mom, Dad and six baby turkeys have been hanging around the house.  I saw them three times the other day.  Then the family took roost up by the fire pit.  It is a lot of fun to watch them, especially the babies.

To everyone that thought I had finished Liberty Sam, no - he has pants and shoes to be added yet.  I have to laugh because quite a few people thought he was done.  I haven't worked on him much.  I find that I need quiet time to actually sit and stitch.  Life is a bit crazy with deck construction and a new AC system being installed.  I am busy with paperwork and making decisions that I had no reason to believe I would have to be making.  It is all fine but it does keep me busy and stitching isn't happening right now.  It is easy straight stitching at this point and I hope to get some time tomorrow to work on it.  Thursday seems to be my best play day. 

Liberty Sam says Hello

I have been stitching.  Liberty Sam is looking quite dapper if you ask me.  I had a few days that were too upsetting to even stitch.  I am calmer now and stitching is once again a pleasure. 

Happy 4th 2013

Liberty Sam and I want to wish all my American friends a happy 4th of July.  It is a quiet day for me and most welcome at this point.  I did stitch a few stitches today.  I have not stitched at all for days.  Life is a drama and confusion for me.  I am getting things decided and hopefully things can begin to calm down.
