Thank you to everyone

It has been a strange week.  Yesterday we brought Jack back home in the special box that my son made for him.  It was sad to think of 'bringing him home'.  Today is just one week since I lost him.  So much has happened and nothing has happened.  Tears come easy.  I appreciate all the comments, cards, emails, and letters.  I have a lot of friends and many are praying for me.  It is a wonderful blessing.  As I embark on the new path, it is wonderful to know that I am not alone.  It my hope to get back to my blog.  I want to return to my stitching.  It has been slow as I feel like I am all thumbs with a needle but it is getting easier.

My son came for a visit with Landon.  I love the matching hats.  The little guy is two now and very busy.  It was great to see him.

Then we had yet another snow storm. Family members built a snow fort with this little snowman inside.  Landon thought this was a great thing and helped by giving the snowman some arms.

Purple tulips from my son.  Spring has arrived on the calender.  There is still plenty of snow on the ground.  The flowers are beautiful.  I love them.  My son has been a blessing over the past so many weeks.

I started working on the Nordic Needle scissors case.  I have even done the cutting for the hardanger.  I need to be able to concentrate to finish this one but it is close to being done.

For some easy stitching, I started Blue Ribbon Designs' Blue Jeans and Daisies.  I haven't done much yet but it is coming along.  Stitching has always been a great comfort for me.  I hope to get back to it and get many hours each day devoted to craft.  There is so much I need/want to do around the house.  I will have to work on a happy balance.

My dear, even though I don't know you, I feel I do, does that make sense. I can't help thinking how lovely that the last piece of stitching you finished and showed us before your darling went was the heart piece, you clearly have so much love together. Take it easy and enjoy your lovely grandson.
Love Fee. Xxx

What a lovely memory you will have knowing your son was so loving and showing his love to his Dad by making that special piece for him. His Dad does know it. I know it is a hard thing to do to bring him home.

Stitchers are a worldwide family and as such your family are holding you in their thoughts at this sad time. Its sad and heartbreaking to say goodbye but its not forever. I'm sure he will be watching over you all until you can be together again.

Take heart from the fact you have a wonderful family around you.

The stitching helps trust me its an important focus and I'm so glad you intend to keep up with your blog.
