Blue Ribbon Progress
I did make a bit of progress. Stitching is still not natural or normal to me. I want it to work so much but I can't seem to get started and when I do, I find so many other things that need doing. I am making the rounds with doctors, as I should. Today I went to the knee doc and he did a cortisone shot and ordered an MRI for Friday. Then I had my teeth cleaned. I see my regular doctor on Thursday - Eye Doc on Monday..... I will be glad to have this stuff done. I am 'going through the motions' right now and just doing it. Tomorrow I am home all day, I think. I should do housework, find my craft room, straighten out some bills and perhaps some grocery shopping. It is a very busy week and perhaps that is a good thing. I miss my friend so much. For one year I knew he was leaving but I didn't want to face it. Now I have to be confronted with it each and every day. My heart is so broken.

I think that no matter how much time you have, or how little, you are never prepared or ready. How could you be?. Know that you have our thoughts, prayers and support with you always.
Taffy, don't push yourself, your life has changed, and with faith and time, you will find a different normal. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Taffy, I went through a crushing loss that absolutely overwhelmed me.
What I find helped was I took pleasure in the little things. I really focused on those, like the the feeling of the first few minutes of a bath/shower, the first bite of an apple, the feeling of sunshine, watching the rain... I know these things seem insignificant, but when you allow yourself to focus on these, and really appreciate them, you will find it might help with passing the time. For time is the healer of all things. And although you will never stop missing your friend, you will find that the ache of it subsides.
He must have been a very, very special man for you to have loved him so much.
My heart is with you Tammy! Prayers always help me too! Happy smile to you stitching friend. :)
