Santa Arrived Just In Time

I stitched this Santa (Mill Hill Bead & Button Kit) last summer. As a Christmas present, I put it together as a easel piece.

This went to my loving son and his Significant Other. I understand that it went over very well. The finishing is not all that hard. I like this finish application because it stores easily for next year. It lays flat in a Christmas box. I really like the way it came out.

It's stunning Taffy! I love Santa's beard! Got to try a flat fold yet.

It folds flat for storage IF the person who owns it can ever bear to see it put away - which I can NOT. At least, not yet. All of my Christmas stuff has been boxed up and put away, with the exception of this exquisite Santa. His photo is my desktop picture, and I need only turn my head to the left to see the real McCoy sitting pretty on the lazy susan on my dining room table. He is my treasure and I am very reluctant to pack it away. He may very well spend his summer over at the marina with me, so I can show him off to all of the customers! I ADORE it, and it is just incredible to see in person. You really can't appreciate it unless you hold it in your hands. I am totally in love with this one, and there aren't enough thank-yous to express it.

This is just spectacular. I especially love the finished edges.
