The Midwest?

This one is called the Midwest but I don't 'get it'. I am enjoying this project. It is stitched with Crescent Colour Silks. Working with silk is wonderful. The thread just glides so easily through the fabric.

I would also like to work with silk.
I bought caron silk in a wonderful color. But it is a problem with my hands. In Germany it´s called "housewife hands". That means the skin is rough.
When I was ready with my silk sampler, I had to rip up the first I had stitched because it was ruined from touching.
Now, I am back to cotton and very happy. I´m in love with "The Gentle Art" and DMC.
Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland von
