The library continues - -

The brick in the upper section was interesting to do. I am sure the back stitching will once again make every thing look even better.

A bit of a side bar - -

I did the stitching for this last month. I then did the hem stitching around it and now it has a home on my floss tote.
My sister asked me to make a green beaded scissors fob. A new stitcher has joined our forces. My niece (in law) has taken up the hobby. I wonder if my show and tell last year helped convince her. I want to welcome Carol to our stitching world and I hope the green fob helps to keep track of those scissors.

Left side is complete

Okay - - I do believe that doing the back stitching as I go is going to be a good thing. It is now time to move on to the right side of the piece.

I touched the left wall - -

I like to note 'touching a wall' when I stitch all the way to a side of the project. The little flower cart is the end of it in that direction.

Spring Street Continues....

I don't normally 'keep up' with the back stitching. I am determined to do it with this project. I am using a sharp needle to do the back stitching. Even using a single strand of floss has this a 'tight' project. I just love it.

Spring Street

I had to do some backstitching. This is stitch with one thread over one and I was worried that the backstitching would be even more difficult. So I did the first building and all it's backstitching. Remember - - this is really small.

Branson Stash Diving

There is so much stuff!!! I didn't really do a lot of shopping but there were goodies handed out every day. I laid it all out on the coffee table and here is the results. It was nice to get away for the weekend. I met several new friends. I had one hilarious night with friends. We laughed so hard - - well you know... LOL. It is good to laugh that hard. Now i have to put it all away. Argh!! I need a bigger stash room.

Spring Fob by Lizzie Kate

If you stitch this one, mind the chart as there are a few errors. The corrections are up on the LK site. I think it is odd colors but I thought it was fun looking.

Card Number 3

I love the colors for this one. I just need to find some time to stitch it.

Life's A Stitch

I received this envelope from Janet in Texas. The theme for this mail art exchange was Lizzie Kate. Isn't it wonderful? Janet dyed the fabric herself. I also think it spent some time on the floor of the mail truck. I think that makes it more authentic. She also sent a small kit and a Texas magnet. I love magnets.

More Praiseworthy Stitching

This is will be the thread holder and scissors fob. It is all very small and should be interesting to do the finishing on.

Happy Easter

This is Needle Nana by Lizzie Kate. I stitched it many years ago. Today I decided to finish it up as a stand up and to include on our Easter table.

Santa is ready

I did some finishing on this ornament. It was backstitched around the edge and then you stitched the two edges together. Quick and easy. He is ready for next year.

The Envelope is complete

and ready to go. I just love the ladybug... This is based on designs by Lizzie Kate. I sealed it up and sent it off to Finland. I understand that it has arrived so I feel safe posting the final photos here. I thought the kite was so Spring!
